About
I am the Pastoral Worker at Hebron Evangelical Church in Aberdeen, Scotland. Though all of my working life has been spent as a research scientist, as of March 2010 I have moved into a teaching and shepherding role in Hebron. What might seem to be an unlikely transition was not taken lightly, but followed a sense of God’s calling and is overwhelmingly out of a desire to see people come to know the peace, joy and everlasting life that can only be found in trusting and following Jesus Christ. I believe that all need to hear the good news of sins forgiven, which only Christ can offer.
My life is very busy with my ministry both in Hebron and in other places. This has made it very difficult to keep the many people who have shown an interest in, and who have sought to encourage me in, my ministry, fully up-to-date with what’s going on. With the list too big to manage each of you individually, the primary purpose of this blog is to let people know where I shall be and what I shall be preparing for and what you can be praying for. The prayers of God’s people are enormously appreciated (and greatly needed) and if you could contribute to my ministry in that most needed of ways, I would be enormously grateful.
Even if you don’t know me, you are most welcome here (and in Hebron)!
